Nodular Cystic Acne Cure - Mine is Gone and Yours Can Be Too
Author: Audrey Malone
Having nodular or cystic acne can be depressing because it can eat away at your self esteem and cause you to feel embarrassed and ugly. It is also painful both physically and mentally. But there is hope.
What is Nodular or Cystic Acne?
Both nodular and cystic acne is acne underneath the skin, but they are somewhat different from each other.
Nodular acne is characterized by inflamed lesions beneath the skin and is a severe form of acne vulgaris. You can have nodular acne along with regular pimples but they are much bigger, tender and painful. Nodular acne looks and feels like hard swollen papules (bumps) underneath the surface of the skin.
Cystic acne is characterized by sac-like lesions that have liquid in them. This liquid contains dead skin cells, white blood cells and bacteria. Cystic acne looks and feels like big pustules (pus-filled bumps) underneath the skin's surface. You can also have cystic acne along with regular pimples and they are very painful because they are inflamed.
Nodules and cysts often occur together. This is called nodulocystic acne. This is a very severe form of acne that is very often resistant to many types of treatment, including prescribed medication like Isotretinoin, Accutane or Ro-Accutane, which have extremely serious and even dangerous side effects.
How Can You Cure Nodular or Cystic Acne?
There are steps you can take to cure your nodulocystic acne condition. This is not something you have to live with for the rest of your life. Some of the most important things that you need to do are:
- Do not squeeze or attempt to pop the lesions
- Eat a balanced diet
- Bathe the lesions with warm compresses
- Follow an effective treatment
I'm Audrey and I had nodulocystic acne and after trying a number of things that did not work, I found a way to cure it myself and now my face has been clear for over 5 years. You can cure your nodular or cystic acne too with the treatment regimen I used by visiting: http://AcneControlTreatment.com/site - you don't have to suffer anymore.

Whats the best treatment for my acne?
The bumps are fairly tiny and light pink to light reddish in color. They are mainly on my forhead and chin. They don’t contain pus but are sometimes tender. I think the medical term for them would be papules. What would be the best way to get rid of them? I’ve been washing twice a day with Neutrogena oil free acne wash for a week. Is this going to work with time. How long? Is there anything better you can suggest to me? Thanks!

Since there are so many questions about acne here, I wanted to share a great site that has almost 80,000 members. It’s free to join if you want to ask a question, but you can also read all of the posts without joining.
Here it is:
acne.org/messageboard
Here are the categories that you can use to ask a question or read other people’s help:

I’ve been dealing with skin issues since hit puberty, and I’m now 36. I WISH it had gone away after 6 years. But this site gave me great info on lessening it greatly!

What is the best acne cleanser or treatment? For moderate acne(white heads, black heads, papules, pastules)
I tend to get overly dry skin so I use neutrogena moisturizer twice a day and wash with neutrogena transparent bar facial soap for acne prone skin

I like Neutrogena’s original Anti-Acne face wash and Rapid Clear daily moisturizer.
for serious pimples i like to use Bert’s Bees blemish stick – it stings a little, but it will clear up any zit!
